Sue has been in the hair industry for 30+ years and has spent them all right here at CHD.

Sue feels that, "Color creativity is not just about color choice, but color placement. Even the boldest of color can work for almost anyone. When it comes to creativity, nothing is impossible." Sue believes in keeping color and cutting styles attainable for her clients.

Sue maintains her Master Stylist title by frequently attending educational seminars. Classes offered at NYC educational facilities, such as The Redken Exchange, Aveda Institute, Nick Arrojo Salon, give Sue the competence to offer her clientele the current year's trends.

Ann started her career in 1997 right here at Creative Hair Design and worked here for many years, fast forward to 2023 and we were so happy to have her come home to Creative Hair Design. As a master stylist in the industry for more than 25 years, Ann not only brings amazing creativity to everything she does but a vast understanding and knowledge of cutting, coloring and styling hair. She is such an asset to our team and is always willing to share what she knows with her fellow stylists.

I was the little girl always playing with hair and by high school, was the go-to for anyone wanting braids of any kind. Motherhood put my aspirations on hold for a time, but as my kids grew, so did my determination to take the steps to become a stylist. In 2018 I joined the beauty industry and I'm happy to say, "I love what I do". I am constantly inspired by the creativity this industry offers and look to explore new techniques and style designs. I am passionate for balayage and foiling techniques for all color and enjoy being creative with fashion colors. Along with my cutting and coloring skills, I am also certified in hair extension installation. It is so enjoyable meeting with clients and helping them to discover their best look. I am so happy to have joined the CHD team of talented stylists.

I got into Esthetics 6 years ago when taking theatre classes. One class, stage makeup, inspired me to learn more about taking care of our skin after all the makeup we used, and all the benefits proper skin care can offer. 2 years ago I made a choice to expand my horizons so I went to school to become a licensed cosmetologist. I love working with color and finding the perfect combination to enhance someone's features. I also love kids' cuts and making them feel special. I am also currently certified in eyelash extensions. My passion for this industry always leads me to learn something new as I'm always looking for new creative ways to help my clients look and feel their best.

Erin is a graduate of Capri Cosmetology Learning Center in Newburgh NY. Since she was a young girl, styling hair was the most therapeutic outlet for Erin. Traditionally a painter and theatrical performer, Erin has merged her passion for the arts into her work as a hairstylist. Erin's goals are to create specific and custom haircuts and styles for her clients. She believes that the experience for the client takes precedence, and she hopes to create a relaxing escape for every person who sits in her chair.

Erin is most interested in incorporating vintage hair into our modern beauty industry because she believes to have progress we have to understand where we have come from. Favoring shaggy cuts and voluminous styling, she wishes to create a custom, tailored hair moment or #hairment (as she calls it) for every person. Erin also brings her creative flare to our spa side as our resident nail tech.

I was around the industry 24/7 at a very young age. My mother's very good friend was a hairdresser and always used me as her model. I went to fashion shows, town fundraisers, and did every hair trend a little girl could want. My passion grew for the industry in high school, I knew I didn't want to go to college and my mother encouraged me to take advantage of the BOCES program for cosmetology. She said "you are always doing you or your friend's hair, what could it hurt?". I took the program and fell in love with the thought of consulting with your client and making them feel good about themselves. There is something truly profound about building a relationship with your client and working with them as they build their self-image. I am now licensed in cosmetology and I look forward to growing in my career and servicing all our lovely clients for years to come!

Laurie has been in the salon industry for 30 years in many roles, stylist, nail tech, waxing, she has done it all. Her vast knowledge of salon operations and people skills, both with clients and staff, makes her the perfect choice for our Salon Coordinator. Laurie is a true people person and leader who excels at anticipating the staff's needs as well as the client's needs. She is a team player who won't hesitate to jump into any role where she is needed. She is such an asset to our team.

I have been with Arlene since the beginning of her journey as her finance and human resource manager. It has been my pleasure to watch her grow and to have the salon grow with her. I handle the day-to-day and month to month financial needs of the company which allows Arlene to focus on her true passion, hair and being a successful salon owner.

On a personal note, I couldn't be any prouder of my daughter.
