My journey first began when I accepted a job at Creative Hair Design as a stylist assistant. I quickly moved on to become a stylist, then a manager and now I am the proud owner of Creative Hair Design. It has been a long journey but one that I wouldn't change.
I took my creative attributes and put them to work in an industry that came natural to me. I enjoy all aspects of hair design, with a strong ability in all areas of color and cutting. Some of my specialties are grey blending and bringing my own flair to special occasion styles for bridal events. I pleasantly accept all hair challenges which keeps my creativity flowing.
By listening to my clients, I have gained their trust and confidence. This led me to expand the salon and offer spa services in it own relaxing section. I feel that I am relatable to my staff and clients and like to always offer a friendly and positive environment.
It is extremely important to me to keep education fresh for myself and staff. I have attended advanced classes in NYC with amazing instructors at Deva Salons (for curly hair), Aveda Academy, Schwarzkopf, Redken (Sam Villa & Chris Baran) and many more. I am also a certified with Babe and Bellami hair extension methods. I feel you can never have enough knowledge. Continuing to learn will help us accomplish our goals together and allow us to give our clients results that they desire.

Her newest love is designing short haircuts. She has an eye for putting that special touch of creativity in each of her haircuts. Kaela's upbeat personality and motivation for education will keep her moving full speed ahead.
As a professional in the beauty industry for over 20years I have built a reputation as a top stylist in my field. I have known from a young age that cosmetology is my true passion. I have spent years continuing to grow and learn everything I can to provide the best services for all my clients. I have a NYS cosmetology license, NYS barbering license, and a CTE teaching certificate in Cosmetology/Barbering grades 9-12.
In addition, I keep up to date with all current trends with online and in person education classes. I specialize in hair color, cuts, and styling. I am always looking for newest opportunity to grow and elevate. Every day is a new adventure and I love every minute of it.
Sue has been in the hair industry for 30+ years and has spent them all right here at CHD.
Sue feels that, "Color creativity is not just about color choice, but color placement. Even the boldest of color can work for almost anyone. When it comes to creativity, nothing is impossible." Sue believes in keeping color and cutting styles attainable for her clients.
Sue maintains her Master Stylist title by frequently attending educational seminars. Classes offered at NYC educational facilities, such as The Redken Exchange, Aveda Institute, Nick Arrojo Salon, give Sue the competence to offer her clientele the current year's trends.
I was the little girl always playing with hair and by high school, was the go-to for anyone wanting braids of any kind. Motherhood put my aspirations on hold for a time, but as my kids grew, so did my determination to take the steps to become a stylist. In 2018 I joined the beauty industry and I'm happy to say, "I love what I do". I am constantly inspired by the creativity this industry offers and look to explore new techniques and style designs. I am passionate for balayage and foiling techniques for all color and enjoy being creative with fashion colors. Along with my cutting and coloring skills, I am also certified in hair extension installation. It is so enjoyable meeting with clients and helping them to discover their best look. I am so happy to have joined the CHD team of talented stylists.
I've always had the passion to be in the beauty industry since I was young.
I graduated from Boces for cosmetology in 2011. I started as a hair assistant then went on to nails for 7 years. I went back to school at Capri for aesthetics and graduated in 2016.
I'm a skilled esthetician and nail tech at Creative Hair Design. I provide excellent facials which include skin consultation and customized product selection. The individual needs of my client's skin are met with a carefully customized facial and home care plan to ensure healthy and beautiful skin. Making people feel relaxed and look beautiful is what I truly love about my job.

Cheryl expresses that she is, "fortunate to work in an environment that helps provide a 'feel good' atmosphere for the client, as well as the stylists.
I have been with Arlene since the beginning of her journey as her finance and human resource manager. It has been my pleasure to watch her grow and to have the salon grow with her. I handle the day-to-day and month to month financial needs of the company which allows Arlene to focus on her true passion, hair and being a successful salon owner.
On a personal note, I couldn't be any prouder of my daughter.
